  1. Courtesy (YELU)

    To be polite.

  2. Integrity (YOM CHI)

Knowing right from wrong and doing what is right.

  3. Perseverance (INNAE)

To persist in a task in spite of obstacles. To be patient.

  4. Self-Control (GUK GI)

To regulate or restrain yourself. This tenet is extremely important both inside and outside the dojang, whether free sparring or in one’s personal affairs.

  5. Indomitable Spirit (BAEKJUL BOOLGOOL)

Feeling incapable of being conquered. If confronted with injustice, a serious student will deal with the belligerent without any fear or hesitation, regardless of the odds.
